Trainspotting Vs Breathe

In this music video, I had to try and match the visuals to the beats of the song as best I could. For my chosen piece I selected Breathe by the Prodigy and clips from the film Trainspotting, because I felt that they where at the time, a perfect match for my video.

The picture quality isn't great for this piece as I was limited to using screen grabs as there was no possible way of getting original material.

The Dragged - 'The Leaving Song'

This was an assignment titled 'Interview and presentation techniques'. This project entailed finding a subject, my chosen subject was the band 'the dragged'. Then I had to devise a list of suitable questions. Conduct the interview, edit the footage together and hand it in with the required paperwork. This piece was shot in 2006, since then the band have split up all, choosing to go their separate ways as musicians.

Special thanks to the band for allowing me to use there music in this video.

The Mix (Retro Portrush)

The Mix is another venue we have on the go in the heart of Portrush. The first gig was in early October with Team Fresh (Headlining) and Bulbous Head supporting them. Team fresh are known to pull in a good crowd and put on a really good show, Not forgetting Bulbous Head who also made a big impression!

16th November 2007
Hosted yet another show at the Mix, with The Phat Controller headlining along with support from Wee Jay, Axis Of & Buckley! Very few people turned up to show their support which was disappointing to say the least, providing the amount of time and effort that was put in!

A brief history:
The first gig the Ballymoney Music Collective & Belfast Records put on was at the end of September with Hovercraft Pirates headlining and Axis Of playing their first ever gig as a new band! They also release their first EP Apple Meat that same night (Available at: http://www.toxicwastebelfast.co.uk/) .
November 30th:
Is the next in the bush with Dynamo an up and coming Rock band from Belfast headling along with ballymena born band Guy Incogneto and the locals One Night Stand hailing from Coleraine/Portstewart.
Come and show your support. Our main aim is to provide a good enjoyable night and also to try and create a new collective scene in the local area!
